Well, after a brief hiatus from World of Warcraft, I have found myself back in Azeroth. This time, I'm playing a Protection Paladin and going to be tanking a lot of my raids. Since I used my Battle for Azeroth 110 boost, I was given my Prot artifact weapon and a set of 870 gear. These last few days I've been doing mythics+ and tanking looking for raid so I can learn mechanics and get used to playing right smack in the face of a boss.
It's fun. A lot of fun and I probably wouldn't have enjoyed it if I played a tank right off the bat. I'm a healer, period. It's what I love to do when I'm playing MMOs but with the release of Bless Online I came to find my place playing a Paladin. Something about a sword and shield bad ass appeals to me so much right now. Not only that but all of my runs have been super smooth. I did miss a few mechanics in Antorus' looking for raid but no one was super pissed and I had a good group to help me through it and I was able to down all of The Burning Throne in one go.
I'm super excited about playing my Paladin and Shaman in Battle for Azeroth. As much as I want to, there is just no way I'm going to be make a Lightforged Draenei before the expansion hits in a couple of months. I mean, I would literally need to grind all day and night and if I'm not mistaken, World Quests don't really have a rest timer and that's where I need to get all my rep, along with completing ALL the quest in each zone. So yeah, there's a lot to do and it was a lot more daunting when you could only pull a few enemy mobs at a time. Now? I just roll on in with my sword and bubble smash.
