So here I am, a month or so into my new guild and I'm already thinking of looking for a new place for my characters. Although I have grown to really enjoy the guildies themselves, there just is no leadership when it comes to putting together raids or anything else for that matter. The guild itself is maxed capacity and there is always what I so endearingly call a "purge" that happens every other day. This is both a good and bad thing because there are always people online however, these people either don't want to participate in guild runs or just aren't on during the popular hours.
Despite that fact we've made a pretty decent raid group that meets twice a week. When I was invited to join the raid, I was healing on my Disc Priest. In fact, I've been healing on my Disc Priest for over two years now. I started with my previous guild as a Holy Priest and then switched over during the last expansion. The only problem with this is that there aren't very many Disc Priest, if any, outside of player vs. player. When it comes to raiding, people want AOE heals and Holy Priest are in an abundance now.
To make a long story short, I feel like the leadership isn't there nor is the talent. There are few who make it great but in the long run, the few cannot carry the entire raid. I was trying to see if I could at least put together the healing group but I'm starting to think the supposed "raid leader" doesn't like me too much. Which is kind of a bummer because I'm pretty awesome.
That being said, I'm giving it another shot. I'm going to do my part, pull my weight and then see how things work. If it seems promising after the next run, I'll give it a go and dedicate my Priest to this guild but I'll tell ya, I'm going to be moving my Druid elsewhere as soon as possible.
